Olivier Grémillon had served as a Senior Advisor and member of Le Collectionist’s Board of Directors since July 2024. His appointment as Chairman marks a new step in the company’s governance structure. Le Collectionist was founded in 2013 by Max Aniort, Olivier Cahané and Eliott Cohen-Skalli.
In his new role, he will work alongside co-founder and CEO Max Aniort and the management team to help shape the Group’s strategic direction, strengthen operational performance and accelerate growth across key markets. Le Collectionist previously raised €60 million to support its expansion, notably through the acquisition of several specialised players across Europe.
A graduate of ESSEC Business School (Master in Management, 1999–2003) and Harvard Business School (MBA, 2006–2008), Olivier Grémillon began his career at Deloitte in Rotterdam before joining McKinsey & Company, where he spent more than seven years, first in Paris and later in Silicon Valley, ultimately becoming an Associate Principal.
He joined Airbnb in 2012 as Country Manager for France before becoming Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2013 to 2017. He then moved to Booking.com, where, between 2018 and 2021, he served as VP & Managing Director of the Alternative Accommodations and Hotel Chains businesses. In this role, he led Product, Technology, Marketing and Commercial teams across a business representing more than $20 billion in transaction volume. In 2021, he became CEO and a Board Member of Vivino, the Danish wine platform, a position he held until September 2022.
Olivier Grémillon has also served on the Board of Directors of Dayuse.com since January 2025. He previously sat on the Board of HomeServe Plc, the UK-based FTSE 100 company, as an Independent Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration Committee between 2019 and 2023. He also holds a Non-Executive Director Programme certificate.
Olivier Grémillon’s appointment comes as Le Collectionist continues to strengthen its governance structure in support of its international ambitions. With fifteen years of experience in high-growth travel and accommodation platforms, his background is presented by the company as a key asset in supporting its next phase of sustainable growth.
